Empowering the Next Generation: Our Tuition Centres

At Jeevidham Trust, we believe that the school bell shouldn’t mark the end of a child’s learning for the day. Since June 2022, our After-School Support Programme has been a lifeline for first-generation learners, providing the academic guidance and emotional encouragement they need to break the cycle of poverty through education.

Our Growing Footprint of Hope

What started as a mission in 2022 has evolved into a movement. We have strategically expanded our reach to ensure no child in the Thirukazhukundram Block is left behind.

Phase 1 

(Launched June 2022): We established our first 10 Centres across:

       Pulikundram (2 Centres) | Malaimedu (2 Centres) | Nerumbur (2 Centres)

       Manamathy (1 Centre) | CSI Primary School, Agaram (1 Centre)

       Idaiyur (1 Centre) | Erichur (1 Centre)

Phase 2 

(Expanded in 2025): To meet growing demand, we inaugurated 10 More Centres within the Thirukazhukundram Block:

     Nallur (2 Centres) | Amanambakkam (2 Centres) | Neikuppi (1 Centre)

     Lingapuram (1 Centre) | Anoor (1 Centre) | Salur (1 Centre)

     Vallipuram (1 Centre) | Perumalchery (1 Centre)

Our Holistic Learning Approach

We go beyond traditional rote memorization. Our centres focus on making education an engaging and joyful experience:

     Modern Pedagogy: We implement Activity-Based Learning (ABL) and Material-Based Learning, allowing children to grasp complex concepts through touch, feel, and play.

     Essential Provisions: To ensure every child is ready to learn, we distribute School Bags, Stationery, and Nutritious Snacks, removing the financial barriers to daily attendance.

    Awareness & Advocacy: We conduct regular Awareness Programmes for parents and the community on the long-term importance of education, helping to reduce dropout rates.

   Celebration of Talent: Our centres are hubs of creativity. We host Annual Day Functions, Independence Day Celebrations, Teachers Day and Cultural Programmes, giving our students a stage to showcase their dance, drama, and artistic talents.

   Exposure Visits & Field Trips: We take our students on exciting educational journeys to broaden their perspectives. Highlights include a historic visit to the St. Thomas Mount Shrine and a thrilling “Day in Chennai Metro,” where many of our children experienced the city’s modern infrastructure for the first time.

   Recognition of Excellence: We instill a sense of pride and competition in our students. Every year, we officially recognize our Toppers with Excellence Certificates, while every student in our programme receives a Participation Certificate to celebrate their hard work and dedication.
